New House One of the components of the clients brief that stood out was the request for a breezeway – an Australian concept of a free-ventilated sheltered outdoor space that could be used throughout the year. The breezeway occupies the space between the living and dining spaces. A collection of solid forms break up the overall mass of the house. The main aim was to insert the house with little disturbance of the existing natural environment to ensure that the clients could enjoy this environment at all times from within. Nostalgic elements of entry ramp, bay windows + entry canopy.
