Present Meets Past
The project entailed modifying and adding to an existing character home that was sited on a long section. The section has elements of flat land but is also sloping into a valley where a new 2 bedroom addition was proposed. The competed design incorporates a large open deck made from sustainable timber, that was positioned to take advantage of sun and views of the landscape. The project is well suited to a family that has varied demands and offers a good amount of flexibility to cope with further changes in the future
