Manurewa Central Primary Developments
Our involvement with Laurie Thew and the Board of Trustees at Manurewa Central Primary School goes back a considerable way when we were engaged to prepare an overall development plan to move the school from its temporary relocatable status to become a permanent school. The only fixed building on the site was the dental unit, which had an historic significance for the school and the community. Working with this as a base we have now developed new administration, staff work and lounge area, a new performing arts centre and teaching blocks including library and IT accommodation. The entire development has given the school permanence and a sound infrastructure to take it forward for the next 50 years. We have incorporated the modernisation program, the SPG program, site growth, maintenance and school raised funds to see it all develop into a comprehensive solution with a clear path forward. Recently we completed some computing developments and associated security and lighting systems.
