Otaki Shops Development
A modern building for retail and café facilities to fit into the busy Otaki shopping precinct. This development replaced an old theatre which was dilapidated and needed major work. The street is near the heart of the Otaki shops which thrives on weekend shopping and outlet stores on the busy State Highway 1 location. Close to the railway station and near the corner of the main street, this location was ideal for a mix of retail and café facilities. Therefore the building was designed to be a simple retail frontage to maximise exposure with modern glazed shop fronts and frame-less entry doors. Modern uninterrupted glass shop fronts and frameless glass entryways. High quality verandah construction with pre-finished aluminium composite panel soffits and fascias. Pre-cast concrete divisions and signage panels create a feature to the street façade.
