University of Auckland Science Building
This seven-level addition to the Science Building 303 at Auckland University provides computer teaching rooms, study spaces and academic bases for the Computer Science and Software Engineering disciplines. The design builds on the formal architecture of the existing buildings, and achieves a modern expression through the incorporation of an articulated steel structure and contrasting, lightweight materials. The building’s appearance is also characterised by the three main facades being divided into bays by its full-height steel columns and a modular, horizontal curtain wall system.
