Sunshine Rooms Relocation at Waikato Diocesan School for Girls
Commonly referred to as the 'sunshine rooms', these two buildings were designed for the school originally with the intention that large, glazed opening doors provided a healthier teaching environment. We were involved in the relocation of these historic buildings within the School's property, adding decking, ramp access, and pergolas while maintaining the heritage character of the buildings. The Sunshine Rooms now overlook the School's tennis courts, functioning as sports pavillions and providing a viewing platform for spectators.
