Fergusson Intermediate School

A major redevelopment took Fergusson Intermediate School from outdated 1960’s design to a modern school-wide learning environment. The design is centered on a curved spine of flexible-use learning spaces, all with a strong connection to the outdoors. Staged over six years, this redevelopment involved the demolition of 16 old classrooms, and construction of 12 new learning spaces. Careful planning, effective communications and attentive construction management all contributed to minimizing disruption to students and staff over this period.
