A second small dwelling in the rear garden of an exiting house, makes the most of our client's desirable inner-city Wellington location. As the trend towards more compact living environments grows, we are receiving an increasing number of enquiries about this type of home. Designing a small house has a number of inherent design challenges – but style and functionality do not have to be sacrificed for a modest footprint. Clever design and efficient use of space can make a small home feel larger.
