Kawhia Museum Maintenance Plan

This historic building was built in 1916 for the County Council. It was designed by leading Waikato Architects of the day, Warren and Blechynden. While many of their buildings are plastered brick or concrete this particular building is timber frame, largely due to remote location, with detailing pretending to match classical detailing. Our work focused on a heritage Maintenance Plan and structural engineering report.
