Ash Residence Alterations and Additions
A simple 1900s four room cottage had been relocated to an amazing site overlooking the Waitomo Caves. Clients wanted to keep the existing character and features of the cottage but extend the cottage by 100% to allow for new living areas and verandahs that faced out over the Waitomo basin. The existing elements were utilised, and a new living room, dining area, kitchen and scullery was added, along with a new front entrance and surrounding verandahs.
