Parnell Terrace Houses

These ten terrace houses are located opposite the Trinity Cathedral and cleverly pitch their roofs between the numerous oak trees that ring the two boundaries. A variety of layouts have been utilised to create a cohesive overall design that maximises the aspect of each house. A central driveway between two houses, frames the view of the Auckland museum in the distance. This accesses a secure central courtyard with common garden and visitor parks. Several units include outdoor fires and cabana dining areas. Louvres have been utilised throughout, particularly to the bathrooms and kitchens for improved ventilation and aesthetic appeal.
