Baker Tilly Staples Rodway New Plymouth
For this project, we provided coordinated design for both the lessee and lessor works. It was a complete refit of two 700m2 office floors. This was achieved by staging the build to enable continued occupation by the tenant. For the lessee, the brief was to create a more client focussed environment, and incorporate modern flexible work spaces. The interiors featured a bespoke moulded timber counter which reflects the Taranaki coastal waves, and our rain forests. This theme was reinforced by selected carpet tiles and patterning. Where possible, we utilised the cathedral ceilings of the building to give enhanced spaces. For the lessor, it was an opportunity to reimage the building, and complete deferred maintenance. This included a new canopy, new colour scheme and internally, new stair balustrades and facilities. Jackson Architects were lead designers, interior designers and project architects for the whole project.
