Petone Townhouses
This new townhouse development features 32 two and three-bedroom townhouses built around a central courtyard. Located close to the Petone foreshore, the outlook is maximised for each home. HMOA's simple, modern design takes inspiration from the roof forms of Petone's residential and industrial past: gable, sawtooth and parapet. The strong street edge is punctuated for pedestrian and vehicle access. The facades are also stepped and have varied cladding. Materials are robust and low-maintenance. "Accentuated gable-end details and window shrouds are deployed across a range of typologies, successfully creating depth and unique façade compositions, while subtle stepping between the forms differentiates individual units.
