Whangaparaoa House 2006
The clients required multiple indoor and outdoor living areas and large volumed spaces to cater for regular extended family gatherings. The design sets an asymetric coloursteel wing roof over a series of offset concrete elements. The plan slides elements accross each other to effect a casual feel and maximise sun and sea views. The interior details and materials have been selected to follow through with the Japanese theme.
