UCOL New City Campus
This Designgroup New Zealand project was a collaborative joint venture involving all DGNZ offices. Our commission was confirmed following completion of our award winning entry as part of an international design competition for this project. Brian Elliott headed the DGNZ team in the role of Project Director and Project Architect with Neil Kemp assisting as Project Manager. Our project team was resourced from DGNZ offices from throughout New Zealand. This fast track project required design and construction to be completed within a tight16 month time frame. Successful completion was achieved on time and within budget. The project provided substantial educational innovation, included significant aspects of ESD environmental design. Since completion many aspects and innovations have become benchmarks for similar facilities.
