Russley Village
The first villas completed in this $80 million retirement village development have set the tone for what is to follow. Russley Village will feature independent living villas, apartments, a care facility, terrace housing, and communal facilities. The architecture is derived from traditional Canterbury housing forms, and has been well received by the residents. Considerable care has been taken in siting each villa to ensure good orientation for sunlight, and the spaces between have been crafted to provide interesting courtyard and garden areas. Richard Mora from Retirement Assets has described these villas as “the best villa plans I have seen”.
