Vet Services Dannevirke
Vet Services Dannevirke operated from an adapted building that was no longer fit for purpose. A new site on the main road was found and a new building designed to Veterinary Best Practice Guidelines. The clinic is outside the pedestrian zone. The clinic is generally viewed at 50 km/hr. We folded the roof and created a timber soffit under with a fractal geometry using parametric modelling software. This gesture imbues the building with a pleasing street presence. Vet Services Dannevirke was awarded a Te Kahui Whaihanga NZIA Resene Local Award for Commercial Architecture in the Western Branch in 2016.
