Selected Project

Tauranga Police Station

The design of the Station expresses the vision of key stakeholders to foster good community relationships and a safer community. A consultative process provided significant opportunities for expression of whanautanga (relationships), wairua (spirit) of place, and korero (stories to be told) in the public and communal areas of the place. The staff areas of the facility were promoted as a modern, open and technology-rich commercial office, enabling greater staff productivity through sharing and collaboration, a comfortable and enjoyable working environment which Improves workplace culture and well-being, and which contributes to Improved staff recruitment and retention. Our aim was to facilitate the provision of a high-class service, resulting in a higher resolution of cases for New Zealand Police.
