Meade Clinical Centre
This project involved renewing and expanding a wide range of clinical spaces across the whole Waikato Hospital site. A neonatal and birthing unit, emergency department, clinical space for a consolidated outpatients department, nuclear imaging (including x-ray, Ct, MRI, CATH and Angio department), operating theaters, HDU and ICU, forensic mental health units, as well as occupational therapy departments were all part of the redevelopment. Punctuated by dynamic use of natural light and vibrant interiors, these clinical spaces look toward the future, allowing patients the highest level of care and clinicians maximum access to technology and high quality clinical space.
