Livestock Improvement Corporation Campus
This outline concept plan for the redevelopment of LIC’s Newstead campus accommodates existing departments and future growth for 430 people in a combination of new and refurbished buildings. The investigative process of preparing option studies explored wider issues over the entire Newstead site, giving an holistic view of the campus to address environmental sustainability, building and land utilisation, site access, transport and circulation strategies. This robust design model gives LIC the opportunity to take full advantage of the current site over time and provides a solid foundation upon which future growth can be tackled in a systematic and comprehensive manner.
