Marlborough House
The project consists of a new moderate size country home with garage and swimming pool. The house is located near a man made lake in the centre of a large mature olive growth south of Renwick. The cladding and pergolas are western red cedar with intricate copper and natural plaster detailing to compliment the existing 5 year old copper clad ‘garden house’. The new house is shaped and positioned to create a series of different sized court yards to provide sheltered, intimate places for the owners and more open ‘semi-public’ spaces to cater for gatherings of the client’s extended family.
