Lansdowne Park
Sitting between the rugby field and netball courts at Lansdowne Park, the new multi-functional building provides much needed facilities for all codes using the park. Arthouse commenced the design of this facility at the end of 2018 just as on-site construction started for the Awatere Memorial Hall. Deliverables on this project included working with the Marlborough District Council on a brief for the facility, liaising with the structural engineer, the services engineer and the quantity surveyor, working with the project manager throughout detailed design to maximise the return for the council within budget, the provision of ground floor changing rooms, storage areas, public toilets, umpires’ room, netball control room and tuck shop as well as first floor club rooms with supporting office, meeting, kitchen, bar and toilet areas overlooking both the netball courts and rugby field.
