Waitomo Glowworm Caves Visitors Centre
One of the main attractions of the New Zealand tourism industry, the Waitomo Glowworm Caves play host to half a million tourist every year. Designed and built with consultation with local iwi and other interested parties. The grid pattern of the structure evokes hinaki (the eel net) and is set out by the curve of the stream.
