Waikato / Bay of Plenty photo comp announced

13 August 2018

A Festival of Architecture photo competition for the Waikato / Bay of Plenty has been launched with entrants asked to snap images of ‘architecture and the built environment that surrounds us’.

Architects are involved in shaping the world that surround us, they have the ability to influence the look and feel of the built environment, to enrich lives physically, psychologically and spiritually. Great architecture does more than simply meet its brief. It works in relationship with the landscape, enhancing our appreciation of the
physical environment it occupies.

The brief of this competition is: Architecture and the built environment that surrounds us. People can interpret the brief in a wide range of ways. The only catch is that the images must be taken in the Waikato / Bay of Plenty regions.

The competition is free to enter with a maximum of two entries per person. Finalists will be exhibited during the Festival of Architecture.

The deadline is 11pm, 8 September 2018. Download all the details here
