The New Zealand Architecture Awards were held at Auckland Museum on Friday 30 October. Here‘s a gallery of all the projects that found success on the night.
In total, there were 28 winning projects. Of the successful projects four were singled out for additional honours. The Blyth Centre for Performing Arts, designed by Stevens Lawson Architects, received the New Zealand Architecture Medal. Three projects also received inaugural Named Awards. Lyttelton Studio Retreat, The Stranges and Glendenning Hill Building Replacement, and the Christchurch Botanic Gardens Visitor Centre received, respectively, the Sir Ian Athfield Award for Housing, the Sir Miles Warren award for Commercial Architecture and the John Scott Award for Public Architecture.
