Job Description
Kia Ora,I am Pooja Prakash, a master architecture graduate from the University of Auckland and a Bachelor's in Architecture (5 years). I worked as a registered architect overseas for a few years.
My professional experience spans architectural design projects across multiple nations, including Indonesia, India, and New Zealand (Auckland Council and architectural firms), allowing me to develop a strong understanding of architectural principles and practices. I have done few publications on international heritage, architecture and urban design works, collaborating with different architects and universities.
My skills include:
• Hands-on industry experience, including site management, research, design
• Motivated to complete tasks within allocated hours, to a high standard.
• Knowledge of ArchiCAD and Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Vectorworks, Adobe Creative Suite and more architectural software.
• Strong conceptual thinking and ability to translate ideas into spatial designs with Strong visualization and design development skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a small team.
• Experienced in heritage conservation, contemporary designs, interior design, practices and methodologies in small to large-scale projects
• Solid understanding of sustainable design principles
• Appropriate architectural qualification relevant to the Architectural Graduate role.
• A team spirit and positive attitude.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations in New Zealand with NZBC, Unitary Plans, NZS 3604, and Resource Management Act.
• The ability to manage your own time and prioritise tasks.
I'm adept with a passion for innovative design and a strong foundation working as a design intern and draughtsperson. My passion for architecture drives my commitment to delivering high-quality detailed design solutions that honour cultural significance while meeting contemporary needs.
