Overseas travel and relocation has created the opportunity for an experienced Bid Lead to join the Business Development team.Jasmax is a multi-award-winning architecture and design practice with studios across Aotearoa New Zealand and Australia. With over 250 staff members, Jasmax offers multi-disciplinary expertise and integrated design solutions across architecture, interior design, urban design and landscape architecture.
The role:
As a Bid Lead, you will lift Jasmax’s win rate and support profitable growth.
* Bid strategy – working with Jasmax Principals to clarify client needs, focus on value propositions and benefits, and determine how to make Jasmax stand out.
* Bid management – manage an efficient, effective bid process to meet all deadlines, including appropriate reviews.
* Bid writing – work with technical staff and partners to produce high-quality, client-centric written content, promote the Jasmax brand and values.
* Commercial insight – participate in bid commercial discussions, contribute insightful advice and ideas.
* Client presentations – ensure bid presentations are of a high standard, on brand, and aligned to our wider strategy. Help prepare and coach technical teams with client briefings.
* Bid feedback - analysing previous bid performance to refine future submissions and increase success rates.
Attributes, skills and experience we are looking for:
* This is the perfect role for someone who has a passion for writing and enjoys working with others to generate compelling, client-centric proposals.
* 7+ years relevant experience in a similar Business Development role, with a focus on bid management, strategy, writing, and production.
* Strong project management skills – ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.
* Preferably, a good knowledge of key players in the construction sector (specifically architecture / urban and landscape design/interiors; engineering and development partners).
* A motivated and energetic self-starter who enjoys both being part of a team and, at times, working autonomously.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite (including Office and Teams). Bonus if you have InDesign skills.
