2006 Supreme Awards
In 2006, four projects – the AUT Business School by Jasmax, Beach Retreat by Pete Bossley, Cathcart House by Manning & Associates and the Oriental Bay Enhancement by Architecture Workshop in a joint venture with Isthmus Group & Tonkin and Taylor – achieved Supreme Awards at the New Zealand Architecture Awards. Until 2008, Supreme Awards were the highest architectural honour bestowed upon a built work in any design category. From 2009, the New Zealand Architecture Medal would be bestowed upon one exemplary project.
