This delightful home, set into the landscape on the bank of the Waikato River, uses every available square metre of the small site it occupies and combines indoor and outdoor living areas to create a special relationship with the riverside. It is composed of solid block forms clad in zinc stone and cedar, broken up with full height glazing. Crisp detailing is beautifully executed throughout the house, complementing the selection and continuity of materials and the high standard of finish achieved.
