Botanica
The magnificent conceit of Botanica is the great public gardens of its central courtyard. In truth, they are not public, but largely comprise the private gardens and courtyards of the ground floor apartments. But all the residents benefit, from looking out on and walking through, and that’s a trick far harder to pull off than might be expected. Peddle Thorp know the value of a generous deck, they know the pleasure unleashed when all the elements are nicely, simply, expressively controlled. This is economic inner-city living, with modest apartments that offer privacy to all their occupants and communal, sylvan splendour to all as well.
