This powerfully dynamic new office tower for Wellington owes as much to the structural solution as to the impeccably detailed architecture. The XXCQ tower sits proudly as New Zealand’s tallest base-isolated building, featuring a subtly understated external diagrid frame, with the body sheathed in an ever-changing series of reflections. The tower, rightfully, takes pride of place on the Wellington waterfront.
