An inner-city alteration of a former warehouse, this happy and joyful project weaves a blend of small intimate spaces and large gutsy volumes to create a well-proportioned new home. Turning inside to outside, with a surprisingly subdued colour palette from John Mills, the prince of the paint pot, the house impresses with its well-planned structure.
