Arise Centre
This ‘new take’ on church architecture was driven by the client’s desire to bring a congregation together in a place where it can make some noise. In this centre you’ll find no bell towers or soaring spaces; it is a residual industrial space, with shared carparks, and almost indistinguishable from the surrounding structures by day. At night, however, the building is lit with golden light, and in the darkened auditorium the design has been orchestrated so that performance and media convey the church’s message.
