S House, Oakura
This artistic house creates an enthralling contrast between delicate and robust design components. A fine veil of cedar battens conceal one side of the house, creating a sense of mystery, while coarse slats unify the design of the seaside frontage. Wonderful cascading steps lead to the lawn, while the interior detail is crisp and consistent.
