Mount Cook School Gymnasium
The Architect has produced a building that is simple in form yet dynamic in delivery. The kind of boldness evident in this project entails risk, but here vision and enthusiasm have been tempered with practical solutions and considered detailing to produce a real gem. The building is sited to address the urban fabric and to lock into and complete the existing school layout; its positioning is critical to the gymnasium's successful integration into both school and community.
