Government House Conservation
The subtle mix of contemporary architecture and faithful conservation in this building's interior constitutes an exercise in understated confidence. Clearly demarcating front of house from back, and public spaces from private, the planning offers a practicality and functionality that had not existed previously. A home away from home, the guest room-style living offers high quality, secure and relaxed environments for working and living. The memory of the past is retained in this building, and thanks to the Architect's skill its history will be conserved for future generations.
