This is a thorough and competent project in both approach and outcome, achieved in challenging circumstances. The Architect, who was involved in stakeholder meetings and negotiations as well as managing a highly collaborative design process, has realised what will become an important community centre in Levin. Within an existing building, different requirements have been accommodated and reconciled in a facility that works well spatially and reads as one cohesive interior environment.
