Lake Hayes Residence
Two forms are arranged to successfully negotiate a steep slope and balance views, privacy and connection to the adjacent public walkway. The planning allows for the building to morph between a comfortable home for two and a holiday house for the wider family, while the split levels and use of cedar, masonry and zinc result in a modern dwelling that respects its site and context.
