John McGlashan College : Gymnasium
The new gymnasium anchors the campus’s south-west corner, shapes and addresses the quad and completes a community of school buildings while retaining its individuality. The main gym space uplifts the spirit and rewards the physical activity it accommodates; it possesses a sense of light and materiality that belies its necessarily robust qualities. Landscape and ancillary spaces are treated with equal care to attract even the most reluctant student to PE!
