Fox St. Office
Industrial steel has been used to insert structural and functional elements into the historic Ford Motor Company building in Parnell to provide a commercial office. The building’s history is exposed and celebrated, with high glass doors between the reception space and the adjacent carpark revealing the full volume of the historic warehouse. The success of this project lies in working with a heritage building’s age and imperfection, rather than any attempt to ‘make good’.
