Altair Townhouse Development
This project is a model for liveable, higher density housing in New Zealand. The townhouse typology breaks down the large scale of the buildings and provides residencies with their own identity. The common areas have a comfortable feel and are pleasant to contemplate from the dwellings. Despite the presence of cars on site, there is a strong sense that it is people who matter most. The architecture is enriched through modelled forms and a range of visually appealing materials. We want to see more housing like this!
