Torea House
An easy approach provides a sense of encounter with these fine-edged pavilions. A bunkered service area allows the house to settle gently into the re-established wetland and estuary edge. The fine wing roof with a distinctive flick of its trailing edge shelters the restrained interior environment. Changing levels create a separation of spaces while volume is used to create retreat areas and introduce natural light.
