Considered planning organises space in this hair studio into three distinct zones – entry and retail, cutting floor and spa room. Materials, including stone tiles, steel and glass, are all carefully composed to give an overriding feel of quality and consideration. The design successfully incorporates what were previously two retail spaces into a single tenancy. Although reasonably compact in floor area, the space feels generous and each cutting station is cleverly arranged to provide a sense of privacy for customers. Materiality, finishing and attention to detail make this a quality retail space.
