Olive Grove, Scrubby Bay, and Seascape comprise a highly accomplished trio of buildings on a Canterbury coastal property. The buildings are seductively designed and sensitively sited – the architect has excelled in meeting the very high aspirations of the dream commission. The three projects offer different habitation experiences, each rich and enjoyable in its own way. The relationship with the land and sea-scape has been adroitly handled in full confidence that architecture can complement and enhance a setting of great natural beauty.
