Newtown Park Apartments
The Newtown Park Apartments are an excellent example of how re-use and refurbishment can develop and enhance the original architecture. Thoughtful and brave editing of the original structures, together with engaging landscape design, careful re-use of robust materials and juxtaposition of contemporary material, detail and colour have created a strong message: public housing can be well built and desirable, and contribute to the well-being of our communities.
