Johnston Ebbett Holden Dealership
Our brief was to transform a 1980’s panel beaters workshop on Taranaki Street, Wellington into a Holden dealership, creating a recognisable and memorable Holden experience. Internal spaces are inviting and relaxing, incorporating a café style customer area. Our client required the geographical integration of the existing showroom and workshop into the new location. Their aspiration was to have a form of architecture that suited the Wellington vernacular and culture, providing a unique experience for their clients. Our response was to form a balanced loft style, chic vs. rustic showroom, while still satisfying strict conditions outlined in the Holden corporate guidelines
