2010 Wellington Architecture Awards Winner
Peka Peka Beach House
It could be described as two boxes with a gap in the middle, but this would be oversimplifying a subtle, impeccably detailed beach house. It has the innate comfort and scale of a well loved bach but surprises the viewer with hidden passages leading to clever spaces, and even cleverer details. This is relaxing haven that makes the most of a marvellous Kapiti Coast perch.
