E-Type House
The rhythms of domestic life are accommodated and changing requirements anticipated in this rich and robust house ordered around two north-facing courtyards. A variety of interconnected spaces provide options for communal and private occupation, and discrete parental supervision, an arrangement that responds to the social needs and inclinations of a family with growing children. The form of the house tips its hat to the neighbourhood’s prevailing villa typology, while the plan allows for a relaxed progress through a long and narrow site.
