2018 Waikato/Bay of Plenty Architecture Awards Winner
Promenade
This temporary installation, a dynamic addition to Tauranga Art Gallery’s Future Machine exhibition, was a successful collaborative project designed to encourage the public to consider the role of art and architecture as integral components of dynamic cities. Sited in an inner-city public park, the tunnel-like form allowed passers-by to experience a concentrated version of the tension that exists in a city between history and future, the natural and the man-made, and silence and cacophony.
